Catches browser downloads
Click a download in Safari and Ladle takes over, with Chrome, Arc, Edge, Brave and Firefox on the way. Hold ⌥ Option to let the browser keep it.
Download manager for Mac
Ladle splits every file into eight streams, catches downloads straight from your browser, and picks up right where it left off. One button, no setup.
Free, no account · macOS 14 Sonoma or later · Apple silicon and Intel
How it’s fast
A browser pulls a file through one connection. Ladle opens eight, each fetching its own piece, and writes them into place as they land. When a stream finishes early, it takes over half of the biggest piece that’s left, so nothing waits on a straggler.
