Numbered series
Section titled “Numbered series”When files are numbered, type the link once and put the range in square brackets. Ladle expands it to every number in between:
| You type | Ladle adds |
|---|---|
https://example.com/podcast/ep-[01-12].mp3 |
ep-01.mp3, ep-02.mp3 … ep-12.mp3 |
https://example.com/scans/img[1-20].jpg |
img1.jpg, img2.jpg … img20.jpg |
https://example.com/show/ep-[140-150].mp3 |
ep-140.mp3 … ep-150.mp3 |
Zero padding is kept: [01-12] gives 01, 02 and so on, while [1-12] gives 1, 2.
Already downloaded
Section titled “Already downloaded”If a link in your list has been downloaded before, Ladle still shows it, marked Already downloaded and unchecked, so you don’t fetch it twice by accident. Check it if you do want a fresh copy.
Every link on a web page
Section titled “Every link on a web page”With the browser extension on, right-click a page and choose Download All Links with Ladle…. The Add sheet opens listing the page’s file links, all checked, so you can uncheck any you don’t want before adding them. See Set up your browser.
